Close Protection Training



The training can be followed in 3 different ways:
  • 4 months complete training course
  • 2 months Close Protection specific training course
  • modular training in 3 levels

* 4 months complete training course


Close Protection + Common Course - 4 months

the full training course makes it possible to obtain the diplomas essential in the world of safety (common course 2 months) with the speciality of close protection agent (2 months).

Close Protection - 2 months - 280 heures


This specific training course can be followed without obtaining the common base, including levels 1, 2 and 3



* Modular Formation


Level 1
Elementaries Techniques - 2 weeks - 75 hours

Close Protection - Level 1 - Technical positioning and escort, urgently drills on attack situations and debreifing vidéo, embus and debus vehicule drills, walking & driving drills in mock village, self-defense .

Driving - Level 1 - Préparation of missions, defensive & prevention driving.

Firearms - Level 1 - Safety precautions, rules & laws of engagement, marksmanship principles.



Level 2
Advanced Techniques - 2 weeks - 90 hours

Close Protection - Level 2 - Exercise stress managing night drills, high risk protection, bullet-proof vest, ballistic bag.

Application in simulation (10 h Final exercise combining all skills taught). Firearms - Level 2 - Drills positioning, acquisition target, instinctive shooting, Firing from different positions, firing using different stances.



Level 3
Officer in charge - 3 weeks - 130 hours

Close Protection - Level 3 - Preparation of mission ground, air and sea. Explosive device (IED's) and their effects. Counter surveillance techniques, introduction on boat and nautical, nautical exercices in LERINS islands group. Application in simulation (24 hours final exercice combining all skills taught).




Full session
Close Protection Training - 2 months - 280 hours


Full session during 2 months including level 1, 2 and 3
